Aspiring Lodge Motel - Wanaka

The receptionist was helpful and allowed us to use the kitchen to cook. The room was spacious with a mini-fridge and microwave. It was easy to walk to nearby supermarkets and restaurants. The outdoor patio was nice but shared among ground floor rooms. I appreciated the electric blankets during cold nights. Being single, I found it convenient to have everything within walking distance.

Parking issues, shared patio access

I was given functional and tidy room with microwave, very comfy beds plus balcony. A fridge and a microwave were very handy. The staff were polite and exceptional and the location was favourable right next to a grocery store.

Location close enough to the restaurants and coffee shops, beach, shops, lots of varied eating places, and the centre. Well-appointed, functional unit with a lovely view and balcony, and pleasant staff: )

Centrally located with generous room space and helpful staff. The room featured a pleasant patio area. Free on-site parking was a big plus, great to explore nearby shops and cafes without hassle. If you're seeking an uncomplicated getaway, this is a charming choice!

The owners went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The proximity to the town centre, virtually half a minute away. The quality of the rooms. The staff were extremely friendly. A really pleasant place to stay in a wonderful town.

The central location near the lake and supermarket was unbeatable. Loved the spacious room with a cozy patio. Cleanliness stood out, with everything in working order. Noticed some noise from the creaky floors, especially late at night, which might disturb light sleepers. The kitchenette was adequately stocked but could benefit from a few more essential items. Parking was limited, and the bathroom felt a bit dated without shampoo and conditioner provided. Minor updates would greatly enhance the stay.

Really enjoyed the stay. Fantastic view and relaxing atmosphere. Would not hesitate to stay again as well as recommend to others

Great wee place and a friendly guy at reception! Will stay here again when returning to wanka.

Electric blankets kept us warm during chilly nights.

The walls between rooms lacked adequate insulation. Parking was limited, and we often struggled to find a spot, leaving us concerned about potential damage to our car.

All fine, but creaky floors

Staff were so helpful during our checking in process. Apparently we got the arrival date mixed up but staff was helpful and arrange for alternative available room for us. Excellent service! And room has all the complete facilities we required.

There was no laundromat service in the hotel, Nearest one available is a 10 min walking distance with poor dryer.

Great staff

Had extensive talks with owners about poor Internet speeds - like zero - they went out of their way to fix he problem and eventually came good. Strongly recommend business travellers contact the motel directly if they need to rely on Internet connectivity
